Registered Manager

Must be experienced in managing a learning disability service, there are high health needs at this service with peg feeds & regular oxygen stats need to be taken so needs to be on top of this

Residential Home providing 24 hour person centred support & care to 7 service users with physical and learning disabilities including some behaviour that challenges. The unit is a 7 bedded residential service that provides assessment and support for adults living with a primary learning disability diagnosis but may present complex conditions, or communication difficulties.
We are seeking a Registered Manager to promote and ensure the delivery of high standards of person centred care and support to the people who use our services. The Registered Manager will take overall responsibility for the successful running of the service, in line with the requirements of our regulatory bodies and company policies and procedures. Manage the service as a financially profitable and viable business that has a future for the people who use our services.
• A successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following:
• You are familiar with caring for people with Learning & physical Disabilities, autism, and behaviours that challenge.
• Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the business as well as having excellent leadership and communication skills
• Good knowledge of current legislation and requirements, guidelines and best practice
• Ability to effectively manage a team of multi-skilled staff
• A working knowledge of all financial elements of running a successful business unit
